It was in 1986 that this relatively young group started up, with the acquisition of UGP Company in Casablanca, which was converted to UGPPartenariats in March 2010. At that time, UGP accounted for 7% of the market. Its booming progress paved the way to take over other pharmaceutical firms in search for growth. This applied to the following:

- In Beni Mellal, the company: TADLAPHARM,
- In Safi, the company: SOPHATLANTIC,
- In Tangier, the company: PHARMANORD,
- In Sale, the company: ORP.

Since April 2011:
- In Agadir, the company: MEDIREP
- In Meknes, the company: SOPHAGHARB
- In Casablanca, the company: SOPHACA and its offices (Maarif Office, Salmia Office and Marrakesh Office).

he above 11 wholesalers, located in the 12 new regions of the country, are organised and equipped to supply customers and to be on duty during weekends and public holidays in order to serve pharmacies on a regular basis. The Pharmaceutical wholasale distribution Segment, operating through all these companies, has been the largest Moroccan wholesaler and distributor in the sector since 2002.
